Don and Mola are best friends who are always hungry, always together, and always messing things up. One day, Don finds out that he’s sick—and he only has 24 hours left to live. While they’re at the hospital, they watch a vlog on TV about the most delicious pares in the world, said to be the favorite of Don’s late mother. So instead of breaking down in tears, Don decides that before he dies, he wants to taste the ultimate pares experience of his life. But as they set off on their journey, they don’t know that a doctor with ties to the black market is planning to harvest Don’s liver. The doctor sends people after the two friends, while Don and Mola cluelessly wander from place to place. In their search for pares, they encounter all kinds of people and get tangled in situations that are funny, frightening, and downright crazy. At the end of their chaotic road trip—while searching for the best pares—they discover that sometimes, the true pair(pares) is the friend who never leaves your side until the very end.
